Last year I attended a lecture in the series Fashion at Stanford – I saw Annie Leibovitz lecture which was not bad. Cemex was packed well before it started, and spillover was sent to a nearby lecture hall where the A/V feed was spotty at best. Though her work is incredible, the interview felt uneven and a little boring.
The series has started up again and the first in the series will be Franca Sozzani, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia since 1988. In addition to overseeing a magazine that pretty much defines fashion, she is also known for humanitarian causes. I’m interested to see how these align given the manufacturing practices of some labels. Admission is Free, but get there early.
When: Friday November 14th, 2014 , 5:00 pm ‐ 6:30 pm
Where: Cemex Auditorium
641 Knight Way
